I'm Sick Of Hearing The Words Divorce & Cancer

I am SO sick of these two words in the English language....Divorce and Cancer Cancer and Divorce!
It seems like every time I turn around someone is either getting divorced or talking about getting one.
It seems like every time I turn around someone is being diagnosed with cancer or waiting to find out if the have it.
I am SO sick of these two words in the English language!
Right now, as I sit here typing away on a cold, cloudy, blistery Tuesday Morning I have two friends who used the "D" word over the weekend.
One is actually going through with it and the other is "thinking about it"!

One friend found out her cancer IS back and the other friend is waiting to see IF she has it!
Ugh!
I'm not sure why, but it seems this time if year is abound with bad news!
Doesn't it?
Right now though, my job is to be supportive of everyone with all decisions that are being made with their marriages and their health!
But in the meantime hold everyone close to you!

As many of you already know kids are the pickiest eaters on this planet!
UGH!
It's gotten So Bad here that I actually refused to cook on and off for a month!
My husband was having seizures for what it was doing to the back account and the kids were pretty much sick of eating out! I didn't mind, I ate a salad everywhere we went and have even lost 5 lbs. this month!
What started it all is for the last few months every time the girls would ask what was for dinner one of them would start this huge fit! My 11 year old would even start crying and refuse to come to the dinner table. This is what else I had to deal with on a daily basis!
My 15 year old complains anytime I fry food! I get some lecture about how it's horrible for you and she can feel her arteries clogging as she's cramming fried potatoes into her face. Then she digs at me everyday in some way about how the food I serve is not healthy for any of us!Who btw goes back for seconds at almost every meal!! I know!
My 11 year old refuses to eat meat!! We have to fight her almost everyday just to eat a few bites. Every single piece of meat is inspected before she'll eat it. This one has pink in it? EWWWW, what's that? I don't like this! Why do I have to eat this? This is gross! You didn't cook it right! Who btw will eat hot dogs all day long 7 days a week! I find that gross!
My 6 year old is pretty good, but getting her to eat things like mashed potatoes, meatloaf and pork is her battle. I have to hear the same things from her that the 11 says, don't you just love the things older siblings teach the younger ones? Who btw happens to love my spaghetti meat sauce which has almost the exact same ingredients that are in the meatloaf!
Soooo, I have come up with what I hope is a fun way to get these kids to eat and they have even named the days! It's too funny!

Whatever Wednesday
Turkey Thursday
Fried Friday
Sandwich Saturday
Scrumptious Sunday
If that doesn't work and get them to eat what I cook I don't know what will!
My husband will just have to keep having seizures since we'll be eating out every night!
